New Release Brings Fixes
Love MongoDB? We do too. That's why we were thrilled to see 3.0.11 released at the end of last week. MongoDB gave users a heads up on their blog that the release would fix inserts being deleted during chunk migration. According to MongoDB, this issue was only affecting shared clusters where shards were running versions 3.0.9 or 3.0.10, a user had a balancer enabled or performed a manual chunk migration.
If you're using 3.0 or higher, get yourself upgraded for this fix. A full review of the issue, with workaround options, can be found here.
